Bar Culhane can’t really consider Walt Mooney’s proposition to marry his daughter or can he? The more he thinks about it, the more he likes the idea. Bar doesn’t believe in love. He’s never experienced it and figures he never will. He does want to be settled and have a family. This arrangement could be a gift.
They talk on the phone, email and text their way to the quickly planned wedding. Bar feels it’s not necessary to see each other. They meet for the first time at the altar. She promises to give the marriage a real chance. He promises to be truthful and never hurt her. Can they keep their promises?
