Run Baby Run

She learned to run at an early age, that’s how Tierney always saved her mother from her father’s wrath, up until that disastrous last time. As a triathlete, she still runs, it keeps order in her life. She’s uncomfortable with getting close to people both physically and emotionally. When she goes to Cortland to help her sister she meets Edge, he quickly invades her comfort zones and challenges her boundaries.

A social worker shows up on Edge’s doorstep to inform him he has a son. A hookup from his past gave birth to the boy and has recently died of an overdose. He has no idea what to do with a six year old boy. He likes things neat and tidy, kids weren’t neat or tidy. Even though he has his hands full he can’t help but to be powerfully drawn to Tierney, too bad she’d rather spend time with his son.

Tierney finds a kindred spirt in the biker’s son and is quickly losing the battle of fighting her intense attraction the youngster’s father. Edge is able to do what no other has, gain her trust and strip her defenses.

Even though she allows herself to explore the emotional and physical pleasures that Edge offers, she must remain vigilant, she must continue to train and run. It’s only a matter of time, when her father gets out of jail she’ll run the race of her life.
